Definition 1. - A protocol to replace the x.25 packet switching protocol used in the past. Frame Relay is a simplified version, owing to the vastly improved transmission facilities of today. Make sure your T1 product is a "clearchannel" product and is not shared with other users. Also be sure you have an SLA or Service Level Agreement from your provider.
